Raban Ruddigkeit is an Designer, Editor & Illustrator who has lived in Berlin since 1996. His mother was a writer & his father a painter, which is why today he walks back & forth between words & pictures. For 10 years he has been combining his many years of experience with classical advertising & graphic design in his own atelier, where he works digitally & analogue.

More than 150 international awards, worldwide lectures & teachings at the UdK Berlin, the HfG Offenbach & the MSD Münster are as much a part of his daily work as the development & editing of Freistil–The Book Of Illustrators, Typodarium & Photodarium (both together with Lars Harmsen) as well as the Berlin Design Digest (together with Robert Eysoldt).

Raban was a member of the Art Directors Club Germany & board member of the interdisciplinary design initiative Create Berlin. Since 2015, he has published a so-called Graphic Comment in the German newspaper DER TAGESSPIEGEL every Sunday, which deals with current political & social issues.
